An OTF, out the front, is a pocket sized knife that automatically opens and retracts through the hole at the top of the handle. By pressing the trigger forward, the knife springs out. Pressing the trigger back will retract the knife into the handle. Once fully deployed, the knife is securely locked in place.
Each knife has a safety device that halts the blade from fully deploying into an object while opening. If the safety device has been activated, pull the blade out to the open, locked position and the safety will reset.
